NJR Drum & Flags Corps Rehearsal at East End Park

The NJR Drum and Flags Corps brought energy, dedication, and community spirit to East End Park during their preparations for the Cheshire East Barrio Fiesta 2026. Through regular rehearsals, young performers strengthened their skills and gained confidence ahead of their appearance at the Filipino cultural celebration held on 25 July at Queens Park, Crewe. The Leeds team are Ren, Marianne, Roxanne, Raine, Raeanne, Mary, and Krizhna.

Preparing for Cheshire East Barrio Fiesta 2026

The road to a successful performance began with weeks of focused practice and teamwork. Members worked hard to perfect their drumming techniques, flag routines, and marching formations. Each rehearsal helped them improve coordination and build the discipline needed for a public performance.

The sessions also encouraged friendship, cooperation, and personal growth. Young members learned the value of commitment while developing their creative and performance skills.

Leadership That Inspired Young Performers

This year’s team was developed under the guidance of Nina Ricci Frontera Butor, Melvin Retaga Milagrosa, and Pauline P. Tinsley. Their encouragement inspired members to perform at their best throughout the preparation period.
