On 5 July 2025, the Yorkshire Filipino Group (YFG) participated in a lively fundraising event at Temple Newsam Park in support of Hope Leeds Community Church’s building fund. Bringing joy and energy, YFG members led an entertaining mob dance that got the crowd moving and added to the festive atmosphere.
Guests enjoyed a variety of Filipino street food, giving everyone a taste of authentic Filipino flavours. A relaxing chair massage station was also a hit, offering a calming break during the bustling event.
Creative Hearts United helped make the day a success by providing gazebo and essential equipment to support the setup.
The event was a wonderful showcase of the Filipino community in Leeds coming together for a meaningful cause. All proceeds went toward Hope Leeds Community Church’s building project—highlighting the power of culture, unity, and community spirit.
