On 27th March 2024, Creative Hearts United demonstrated its unwavering support for British-Filipino young adults pursuing their musical dreams by inviting a talented group to perform at Emma’s 50th Birthday at East End Park Working Men’s Club.
This gig brought together the MSM band—comprised of Abigail , Nathan Ignacio, Nathan Valdez, and Migo Bagaan—the Veraque sisters, Roxanne Veraque and Raine Veraque, and the CHU band, which included Erin Chu, Raeanne Chu, Abigail Gela, and Ronald Chu. This event highlighted the musical diversity and passion within the British-Filipino youth in the Leeds community.
In the lead-up to the performance, these young musicians spent countless hours rehearsing at the Creative Hearts United home. This commitment to practice demonstrated their dedication to their craft and Creative Hearts United’s role in nurturing that commitment. Creative Hearts United provides a safe and encouraging environment for these young talents, fostering creativity and discipline through regular rehearsals and mentorship.
For these musicians, the March 27 gig was not just another performance; it was a milestone in their artistic journey. The event gave them a platform to share their music with the wider community, encouraging others to pursue their passions. This initiative reflects Creative Hearts United’s dedication to cultivating young talent and offering valuable public performance opportunities. Through events like this, Creative Hearts United continues to inspire young adults to embrace their artistic side and push boundaries in their creative expression.
