17 September 2023, Creative Hearts United’s co-founder, Mrs Emma Chu, is one of the recipients of this year’s Top-100 Empowered Modern Filipino-European Award (EMFA) for her leadership and remarkable dedication in supporting the Filipino community in Leeds by spearheading successful barrio fiestas in the UK. EMFA is an award-giving body that recognises professionals and artists in Europe and is based in Lancaster, United Kingdom.
