We are thrilled to announce a significant milestone in the journey of Creative Hearts United. On Monday, 13 November 2023, our organisation achieved another remarkable feat by being officially registered with the Charity Commission as a Charitable Incorporated Organisation (CIO).

Creative Hearts United’s co-founder, Mrs Emma Chu, is one of the recipients of this year’s Top-100 Empowered Modern Filipino-European Award (EMFA) for her leadership and remarkable dedication in supporting the Filipino community in Leeds by spearheading successful barrio fiestas in the UK. EMFA is an award-giving body that recognises professionals and artists in Europe and is based in Lancaster, United Kingdom.

The Dinagyang Dance Tribe from West Yorkshire graced the Ryde Illumination Carnival 2023 on the Isle of Wight in a spectacular display of cultural diversity. Through the generosity of Ms Aireen Gauntlet, we were invited by Equal IW, a charity organisation dedicated to equality and diversity, their performance wowed both judges and spectators alike.

We joined Green Time and Asian Global UK for an enchanting midnight adventure on the picturesque Isle of Wight. With 40 friends from all over the UK, this event promised to be a fusion of artistry and nature.

A delegation of Filipino volunteers, representing the Filipino Leeds Community (FLC) and led by Mrs Emma Chu, co-founder of Creative Hearts United, received an invitation to take part in the programme of the UK Philippines Universe 2023 Pageant.

The Leeds Barrio Fiesta 2023 began with an electrifying grand opening performance crafted by Mr Tebs Licos and Mr Revson Ignacio. This dynamic duo transformed the stage into a captivating canvas, blending traditional and contemporary elements seamlessly.

Creative Hearts United co-founder Mr Ronald Chu brought his vision to life with the debut of the Filipino Amateur Photo Competition at the Leeds Barrio Fiesta 2023. This competition aimed to unite photography enthusiasts and provide them with a platform to celebrate Filipino culture and landscapes through their lens.

Experience the vibrant world of Filipino culture at the Leeds Barrio Fiesta 2023 Santa Cruzan Parade. Organised by the Filipino Leeds Community (FLC) and led by Mrs. Emma Chu, this event was a wonderful celebration of heritage and community unity.
