Nurturing Talent & Elevating Productions

Our undertakings span a wide range of activities, such as curating productions, fostering talent in our community, delivering choreography, and offering context for performances. This involves acquiring funding for expenses, venues for dance rehearsals, and supervising costume design and production.

Connecting Filipino Hearts and Lives

These occasions play a pivotal role in nurturing a sense of community within the Filipino population, providing people with chances to participate in social and economic activities, ultimately improving their overall quality of life. Our efforts empower individuals, particularly those working in the healthcare sector, to achieve and sustain a harmonious work-life balance.

Preserving Our Filipino Identity

This encompasses a wide range of elements that form the tapestry of Filipino culture, including visual and performing arts such as traditional dances, music, and paintings. It also extends to the preservation of Filipino crafts, both traditional and contemporary, which are cherished for their artistic and historical significance.

Our Journey Starts Here

Our charity initiative is aimed at promoting and educating the public on the rich cultural heritage of the Philippines. This initiative seeks to engage individuals, social clubs, and Filipino children and young adults in a vibrant tapestry of activities, showcasing the diversity of Philippine folk dances, music, arts and crafts.

Cultural Education

Cultural Dance Workshops

We managed and facilitated the Philippine cultural dance workshops and helped form the Yorkshire Filipino Group Cultural Dance Troupe. The rehearsal workshop began in the summer of 2023, featuring a contemporary interpretation of various Philippine folk dances. The performance aims to blend tradition with innovation, creating a mesmerizing experience.

A total of 25 individuals have signed up from Leeds, West Yorkshire and the surrounding areas for the summer of 2024 tour, with performances at the Bradford Barrio Fiesta, London Barrio Fiesta and the Cheshire Barrio Fiesta.

Social Outreach

Community Celebrations

Social isolation can often be pervasive, particularly in communities that may feel distanced from their cultural roots. We break down these barriers by creating opportunities for community-building. We engage in social outreach by participating in birthday and Christmas parties. We partnered with various Filipino individuals, groups and associations such as the Renaltyes, a group of renal nurses in Leeds, and Yorkshire Filipino Groups.

These events bring the community together, fostering a sense of belonging and joy. They provide opportunities for cultural exchange and strengthen community bonds.

Youth Empowerment

Guiding Young Talents

We are passionate about empowering young people to embrace their cultural heritage. We guide Filipino children and young adults in the right direction by actively participating in a variety of cultural activities.

We secured a dance studio for rehearsals, offering a professional space to refine their technique. With refreshments on hand during each practice, these young performers stayed energised and focused on bringing their best performances. Creative Hearts United purchased equipment and other essential props, providing a foundation for this lively and intricate dance.

Community Engagement

Collaborations

We have been involved in and supported various Filipino communities and groups across the country. Our involvement ranges from facilitating events, assisting with design concepts, choreography, curating, exchange of expertise, managing touring group, funding, and more.

These are some of the Filipino communities and social groups we have worked with over the past years, Yorkshire Filipino Group, Filipino Community Bradford, Cheshire East Filipino Community, Filipino Leeds Association, Renalytes, Asian Global UK and Equals Isle of Wight, Philippines EuroAsia, Barrio Fiesta Ltd. (London Barrio Fiesta sa Hounslow), and Philippine Centre (Barrio Fiesta London).

Award-Winning Projects

Elevating Productions

We have established partnerships with multiple charitable organisations and social groups to engage in cultural competitions nationwide. Noteworthy events include the London Barrio Fiesta sa Hounslow and Ryde Illumination Carnival 2023 on the Isle of Wight, where we achieved first place. Additionally, at the Philippine Centre 40th Barrio Fiesta sa London 2024 in collaboration with TFC, we proudly secured third prize.
