03 November 2023, Creative Hearts United proudly supported the Yorkshire Filipino Group’s Christmas Party at the Edmund House Club. Our dedicated trustees worked tirelessly to ensure the success of this festive event, showcasing our commitment to the talented dance performers known as the Yorkshire Filipino Group.
The incredible group recently wowed audiences at the London Barrio Fiesta, winning the first prize in the cultural dance competition. Their excellence continued at the Ryde Illumination Carnival 2023 in the Isle of Wight, where they secured both top prizes.
Special guests included Leeds City Councillors for Burmantofts and Richmond Hill Ward: Cllr. Ashgar Khan, Cllr. Luke Farley, and Cllr. Nkele Manaka.
The festive atmosphere was further enriched by the presence of other Filipino groups from Hope Leeds Community Church, Overcomer Mission UK, Asian Global UK, and more. The turnout was incredible, with the venue surprisingly packed, echoing the overwhelming support of the Filipino community.
Creative Hearts United is proud to be closely involved with Yorkshire Filipino United, eagerly anticipating collaboration on their 2024 community projects.
